And here’s how I feel about it:

You too? Oof. And it feels like March. Or, perhaps, the March that I imagine in my head, which is derived of some summation and derivation of South Bend + Solana Beach + Las Vegas. While I don’t know how quite to explain that one… I can tell you it was cool, bright, sunny 47 out today and I could walk around in a short skirt and a long jacket (yes, Cake!) and enjoy the high street in the early evening.
I’ve been preparing for spring break, and am racing around town buying shorts for the Canaries and whathaveyou. I always forget what a hassle it is getting ready for big holidays. Except by “hassle” I mean, “not actually a hassle at all.” Nonetheless, I’m exceedingly excited for my week of excessive Spanish-speaking and Lauren Edger-toting to get underway. Awesome Itinerary As Follows:
6 March: Edger arrives! I (am relatively sure that I will successfully) meet her at Heathrow (without a hitch)! We fly to Madrid together.
6-9 March: Madrid, where excellent fun will be had.
9-13 March: Tenerife, Canary Islands. Weather permitting, a lot of bronzing to be had.
13-14 March: London for the night, where I have less than 16 hours to prove that this place is the coolest. No easy feat, I assure you.
14 March: Edger bounces out.
And that’s how it will go down in the history books.
Something tells me by the time I get back from all of that, it really WILL be spring. Holy crap, people.
